About Galy Collection
Populart is a place. Vivid and magical where every color breathes and every thought becomes alive. It’s the imagination of Galy, a regular boy in the midst of a buzzing and overstimulated real world. For Galy, Populart isn’t just his own imagination, it’s his refuge. When he’s feeling overwhelmed, his head floats and he’s off…to his own mind.
There, he whispers with Figroom. Small enough to perch on his shoulder, Figroom petitions Galy’s anxieties. When given enough attention, he grows. Sometimes to an overwhelming size. This friendly character helps him escape from the dangerous Tripkids.
Tripkids are consequence and conflict embodied. Spiked and armored, they chase after Galy intending to do harm. Giving up would lead to him becoming another Wigworm, a cuddly character that fell captive and has since been unable to be freed.
Also in Populart, Galy gets glimpses of Pregaly…himself as a kid when nightmares didn’t exist and life was pure.
This is the world of Populart and Galy’s adventures within it.
